Blog 4: Favourite musician

Currently I mainly listen to classical music; I think that this music genre is so much undervalued, because most of the people do not know almost anything about this genre, if you mention the classical music to someone probably the only name that they know is of the four or five more famous classical musicians and also they would say that is a relaxing music (or music for studying), things that are kind of true, but they do not represent all the greatness of this musical genre.

My favourite musician is a classical violinist, violist, guitarist (better known as a violinist), and composer  of the 1800s; his name is Niccolò Paganini, an Italian musician. He was born in 1782, and died in 1840 from tuberculosis. His life was very extravagant; he spent much of his time betting in the casinos -once lost a very expensive violin in bets-. He is considered as one of the most virtuous violinists, in fact there are legends that say that Paganini sold his soul to the devil in exchange for extraordinary musician abilities.

I like him because I love his pieces; I feel that his compositions are very talented. Also I like him because all his story about selling his soul to the devil is so mysterious and causes me an interest in hearing what he used to play when he was alive. I do not remember when I started to listen to classical music, but I started to listen to Paganini a few months ago.

Here it is the Paganini's "Caprice n°24" interpreted by Hilary Hahn.

Blog 3: My favourite piece of technology

Personally, I have at least 2 or 3 pieces of technology that I use it every day, but my favorite is the cellphone

I remember when my parents gave me my first cellphone; it was so amazing at that time, but this cellphone did not even have touch screen -it was like the next generation of the indestructible Nokia-, I remember to play the classic “snake game”, make music with the keyboard and the more incredible, I could make calls.

Every two years approx. I used to change my cellphone -because I broke it-, but now I change it like every3 or 4 years, and every time that I get a new one it is better.

Currently I have and iPhone SE, I love it because with it I use to do so many things, like calling and texting my friends, playing video games, listening to music, taking pictures, studying, watching movies and videos, etc. I use it every day; it is so addictive -thanks to Instagram-.

Without my cellphone I think I would be more social and probably more focused in things like studying.
