Blog 6: Favourite Superhero, Antihero or Villain

My Favourite Superhero belongs to the Universe of Marvel, which includes the comic universe and the marvel cinematographic universe (MCU) that is based on the comic universe. I am going to talk about the MCU superhero, which is interpreted by Benedict Cumberbatch.  His name is Stephen Strange – better known as Dr. Strange-. His story was written by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.

The Doctor Stephen Strange was an acclaimed and arrogant neurosurgeon in New York City. One day he had a car accident and he suffered a big damage in his hands. After that so many surgeries tried to recover his normal movements with his hands – even an experimental surgery-, the medics could not recover his mobility with his hands. Stephen in desperation went to Kamar-Taj; a temple in Nepal, in this temple he found the Ancient One, a powerful wizard. Stephen begged her to teach him, and after a couple of years of hard training, Stephen Strange became a wizard with specials abilities.

I like it because I love the way in how he changed his arrogant personality to a more human one. And it is one of my favourite movies, and the actor that interpreted this character is my favourite actor.
